The Commando and Droid convinced me to never use android again (I literally went back to a dumb phone after a month with each).

The LG LX 5550 convinced me to never get an LG phone again. Battery died constantly, bullshit proprietary connector, and the thing got so hot you wondered if it would burn your face while you were talking. Took me like an hour to find the name of it, too, because not knowing the name was bugging the fuck out of me.

2012-2013 Samsung Galaxy Q - Awful for anything but the most basic use. Has a dope keyboard though.

2013-2016 LG Nexus 5 - Almost flawless. Just needed a better camera.

2016-2017 OnePlus 3 - Chink shit that belongs in a landfill. I'm putting up with it but it always crashes and hangs even after several resets. Battery life is nothing special. It's enormous and doesn't fit in a pocket. Makes you look autistic using it. The only things I like about it are the fast charging and camera quality.

2011-2015 > Samsung Galaxy i5500 (Corby 5). My first Android phone, I flashed like 4 different roms on it. Some gipsy scum stole it.

2015-2016 > Archos Neon 45, cheap utilitarian Android phone. Last year while in Berlin I got infected by some kind of malware that made the launcher and the system to crash upon start. Since Archos did not want to provide a flashable firmware, I had to destroy it.


2016-now > Alcatel Pixi 4. Current phone, dirt-cheap and it serves its purpose of sending email, chatting and shitposting. Flashed an unofficial LineageOS rom. Can't complain.

Liked it when it first came out, I liked pulling out my battery pack to hot swap (even if that's the phone equivalent of a fedora). Bootlooped a year or so in. Never buying LG again after that.

Great camera, a little small for my tastes, also fuck having 16 GB for storage, now I understand why iPhone users burn through so much data when I barely use a Gig a month on Android.

Xperia S for 2 years
Galaxy J7 2016 for 6 months and counting

Overall the worst was the xperia S. Everything about it was lacking. I wish I got a samsung S3 as they were almost the same price.

The other three all had excellent battery life. The 5800 had excellent dual speakers but the touch was shit.

The j7 is overall good.
