Hasn't there been a leak out for a while or was that opera 11 or something
>>62057061
This is the version that was leaked.
Any luck with getting it to compile on Fedora 26?

You don't understand. We could use it to build a web browser.
>>62060269
you could also use the chromium or firefox code bases, which aren't 10 years old
>>62060287
Ah I see. It's presto. I thought it's the new Opera version based on chromium.
Is the presto engine still functional on the "modern" web?

IT'S NOT FAIR

Fuckhueg sites like newegg tend to get bogged down and Google actively discriminates against it. Otherwise it's fine.
>>62061253
No.
>>62058747
That was me. I'm switching to Ubuntu because apparently it succeeds out of the box with a few commands. If it does succeed I should be able to build a standalone tar, RPM, and DEB that can be installed. If I can get off my lazy ass and stop procrastinating I'll try that today.

Were people able to find any juicy telemetry stuff?
>>62065164
Nope (besides what Opera added to begin with). I can do a check to see what servers it contacts though.
>>62062899
I agree.
Linux X86_64 binary, hot off the press.
For some reason the RPM and DEB packages says they compile successfully, but I can't find them. Install script defaults to putting opera in ~/.local

With that said, this still doesn't support any new security protocols. So unlike the 12.18 in Windows, sites like nyaa.pantsu.cat are still inaccessible. Accessing more https sites was the entire reason I started this too. Fuck me.

Just wait a month or so and that problem will be fixed since a guy is working on upgrading its OpenSSL library that is built into it to v1.0.1.

Here's the log of connections that were made when I tested it on some sites:
