I have like 5 external HDD ranging from 1-2tb

I have a USB 3 expansion on my computer for 7 more usbs.

Would it be fine if I had all 5 HDD connected to the computer at all times? Or would that cause issues? I used to do it with 1 HDD but idk if it would cause dmg over the long term

It would be find. Why though? If you want them connected 24/7 just open the enclosures and connect them directly.
