well, it isn't exactly difficult, but if you have no experience i guess you'll need to at least google a bit. it's basically 2 absolute positioned divs with box-shadows, some content positioned with flexbox on the left one, and bg-images on the right div and on the body.

i'm finding it real hard to move from Firefox; i've tried luakit and surf and while they're okay they just aren't as smooth as Firefox and their ad-blocking plugins are lacking (and in the case of surf, i'd like tabs)
