It's hard to customize, hard to patch for full version but the results after doing it well, are amazing

Don't think it's free, but I think there is a free version. Pulsar. Best one I have found, and I've tried or bought a lot.

Only app I actually miss from the Google Play store after deciding not to install gapps on my phone.
I don't think the Yalp store can actually download paid apps, but even then I don't feel comfortable about that

I just use the default music player in the LineageOS install. Sometimes Odyssey when it has functionality that the default music player does not
