Literally why would anyone get a non-Surface tablet?
Cost, what you want the tablet for, etc.
Don't be stupid anon.

because they have a 25% failure rate confirmed by consumer reports?

>caring about cost
>buying a big tablet that does nothing different from your phone

Epic, everyone who has ever bought a non-surface tablet probably just killed themselves. Unbelievable!!!!

That's the surface laptops, not the tablets.

Low or zero repairability score by iFixit. Poor Linux support. Comes with botnet preinstalled. Microsoft could push out an automatic update to prevent turning off secure boot.
The pixel tablet is only $400
Just because I don't like it means there is no market for it REEEEEEE

because the entire use case for tablets is "something with which to browse forums while i'm on the shitter" so spending more than about $40 on one is something only a retard would do
Because I bought an ipad instead .

As someone who has owned three surface pro's and two of them broke, I agree with these posters here.
But they're still cool and in a kinky way I miss them now that I'm on camp Thinkpad.

Size, weight, cost, and desktop OS and apps that aren't as good for touch use as mobile ones.

Because it werks. I enjoyed my Surface Pro 4 but its short life was full of inexplicable issues until one day, it just stopped seeing the keyboard for no apparent reason. Reinstalling Windows did nothing. The UEFI could see it just fine two our of three times though, which was odd.
