Are single room Computers a meme?
I was considering downsizing to a SFF build like pic related but I'm worried about heat, noise and ease of service, will it perform the same all packed together like that?

what are you doing with your life?
Make sure you've got false floors or else you're screwed. Most you can radiate underfloor, or just pump air through them if you must. Keeps stuff nice and chilly.
Personally I just use a couple of those new little mini's by data general. Can't wait to get a Nova 800, once they finally start shipping the things. Already have three ordered

My mini doesn't even have 2MB of disk space and it's more than enough for my experimenting. What sort of program could ever possible use 2MB of memory?
Maybe using one of those bloated high-level languages from bell labs you could get something that garbage, but by golly if I'm ever gonna write something so large.
