AC converter board but its shielded, that simply will not do.

And nixie drive circuitry, at least part of it.
>>61952889
Its a DMM! And a rather old one at that. It predates 7 segment displays and doesn't even measure current, at least not directly. It has 5.5 digits and resolution down to 10 microvolts and 100 micro-ohms. Pretty fancy at the time.
>>61953131
wtf how am I supposed to carry it in my pocket
>>61953149
You're gonna need a really big pocket.
Back when even dual PCB cards used one PCIe power connector.
>>61953409
>4 8-pin connectors
>>61953442
Someone thought is was a good idea to stick two R9 290X onto one card.
So in order to actually follow the PCIe standards, that many connections are necessary.
>>61953442
A 1000W PSU is actually justified in such a system, if you want some headroom.
>>61953131
Here's mine!

Yes, that's four 486s on an ISA card.
>>61953263
>>61953379
I must admitt i never seen one in real life though
And some DSPs on the back
>>61953821
is that one of those weird dell/whatever addon cards that just added connectors and output circuitry for the existing chipset GPU?
I have a similar one somewhere in the attic.

not exactly, what's your deal?
>>61954349
I've been looking for an EMS card for my XT for quite a while and I wanted to buy yours.
>>61954006
>>61953940
It's supposed to be in a backplane right? Can you give more info about it?
>>61954374
I never tried it myself, but it was given to me as dead, so I doubt it'll be of any use. And I don't really want to sell it, it goes quite nice with other old stuff I have like core memory, punch cards and reel-to-reel data tapes.
>>61954537
It was in a humongous 6U rack with like 14 ISA slots, one of them had a Pentium 4-based SBC. I have two other cards which are effectively half this, with two 486s. I think they are some kind of telephone line multiplexers, I remember reading something about them being able to do 64 lines per pair of BNCs
I just found this tiny bad boy in a trash bin, works pretty well on my slim pc.
>>61952370
I miss big capacitors and components, had that aesthetic.

>>61955181
but why?
>>61954795
Cute
This bad boy. X800 GTO, first GPU I bought new.
You could unlock pipelines and overclock it making it essentially a X850 XT PE for a fraction of the price.
>>61954795
ooo, what is it?
im always looking to expand my collection if itty bitty GPUs and i havent seen that heatsink, i dont have any OEM HP cards either

It even says Twitch on the little mascot printed on the fan. Aww.
Literally the comfiest card of all time.
I'm going to pull the trigger on this one. How fucked I am?
>he will lead you to the promised land of sick ass early 00s graphics
Anything Voodoo or AIW Radeon. I have a 3Dfx and ATI from 2000
Comfiest card.
Soo, I just bought a second one of these on ebay for $65 because I guess I like wasting money. According to the seller it doesn't power on so I can already narrow the problem down to the power supply board. I have the service manual with schematics plus a working reference unit so I should be able to get things up and running. Hopefully there aren't other issues as well.
I am mildly concerned because the +18V rail seems to be derived from the 200V rail via Q1, Q2, R2, R3, and R4. If R2 and Q2 failed short circuit for whatever reason the +18V rail would be pulled up to 200V which would cause cascading failures throughout the device. I think that is unlikely though.
I also picked up a tested working Fluke 8840A 5.5 digit VFD DMM similar to that HP/Agilent 6.5 digit one that I don't remember the model number of. Supposedly they are pretty nice, I'm fairly certain I have the true RMS AC voltage/current option but the listing said the GPIB option was removed which I can live without.
Deleted out of shame because I forgot pic.

You are on the wrong board m8.
The best value GPU in 2002 was also one of the best looking... Asus Geforce 4 Ti4200.

loved this card. need to replace it's cooler though

>PLCC DRAM
Now that's interesting
3dfx Voodoo 3 2000 pci, Geforce 6800 GT agp, ATI Radeon 32mb SDR pci, Geforce 8800GT pci -e (Died), Geforce 740GT pci-e, Xpert 98 8mb pci. I've still got these cards, used them all at one time or another. Got a 9600XT (Sapphire) and ati all in wonder rage card in my old parts box.

>>61969188
it is arguably the best 7970 that ever existed (if you ignore the fact that it reached 63db at 100% fan speed).
the same cooler was also put on the gtx 680 soc
>>61969271
>if you ignore the fact that it reached 63db
Well that's kinda hard to ignore
>>61952616
how hairy are your legs holy shit
>>61963317
I had it on my 6870 and now 980Ti. Comfiest cooling system ever. Keeps my 325W card below 70C while being dead silent.
Are AGP's allowed here?
>>61967125
this is a top-tier card. i run my dell optiplex 330 usff with a X5460 and one of these and it's the most convenient thing ever
>>61963135
I think they even ported them over to PCI-E (used agp/pci-e bridge chip), same as they did with the geforce 6800 series
3dfx Voodoo 5 6000. Truly a rare card especially if your lucky to get one that functions even partially. The last of the Voodoo's, only few test samples were made before 3dfx shutdown.
>>61972977
>The last of the Voodoos
Some prototypes of the successor to the VSA-100 and Voodoo 4/5 were made, it was going to be called Rampage.
