Installed Ubuntu.
Doesn't recognize my ati Intel switchable drivers.
Doesn't recognize my Wi-Fi driver either. Googled and met a fucking wall of text
Did the instructions, is won't boot.
I guess I need to buy one of those ready made fl

I've had many laptops and I have experienced compatibility issues in the past but never in any of my Thinkpads, that's why I'm only buying them now. I'll always install a Linux distro on it anyway so compatibility is important. If /g/ shills some other brand enough I'll believe it can also run Linux with no problems and I'll consider it.

I game
My uni course has programs that only work on windows (I study teaching)
Its stable and I don't have to worry about driver issuss
I only game/write word documents

My die cutter software is Windows only. I'm using 7 Enterprise with SP1 and only the Security-Only updates so I'm at least trying.
