Imagine the part of the bezel I didn't remove is instead part of the stand. The screen is still round and either put the apple logo on the stand or an aluminum logo embedded into the black part of the bezel.

I really don't know. It would look much better if it was thicker with a smaller bezel. iMacs have been ugly for the longest time because of the chin, while Apple's standalone monitors look great.
