routes havent been chanched, but simply the two pins to insert a certain signaling will be 11 + 17, instead of 11+12

those are the GPIO pin numbers on the SBC that they link to - depending what libraries you're using you can have the option to refer to them by the number at the raspberry pi end instead if you like.
besides. when you're actually working with them you usually end up just referring to the pin number once and giving it a sensible variable name.
