Why nobody talks about Opera?
e-celebs appears to be techie because they talk about Firefox, 4chan discuss about which is alternative is better, but nobody talks about Opera.
I know they have made stupid mistakes some years ago and trying to appeal to normies, but they have changed again for the better, they are a complex browser.
It uses the Blink layout engine.
An earlier version using the Presto layout engine is still available, which will be the future.
And runs on FreeBSD systems. Latest Firefox versions have dropped their support.
They don't spy and they are made by Finnish devs.

Because it died

It didn't died for me and is the 4th browser used worldwide.
Ignoring it it's totally stupid.

Oh it died. You might be using a browser called Opera but it's certainly not Opera.

It's not Opera? are you sure? because it's pretty unique. Have you at least tried it?
if it's not Opera what is it?
>It's not Opera?
It's not. It's their new Chromium based browser.
>are you sure?
Positive
>because it's pretty unique
It's a Chromium fork.
>Have you at least tried it?
I don't need to. I already know it's nothing compared to the real thing.
I tried opera recently, it actually is pretty neat. I stuck with chrome primarily for the Google account sync since I have all my info with them.
>Something about the bother and much privacy
Yeah I know I go to school for cyber security but I don't care about my own privacy enough when they have so many ways to get it and this makes school and work so much more convenient.
But yeah opera did seem to have some pretty neat features, I'd recommend people that haven't used it in a while to check it out
