Honestly, Linux has many problems in terms of "Just Werkz" -ness, but I got tired of getting cucked by Microsoft whom I paid to spy on me (???) and just decided I would stick to Linux no matter the challanges and learn as I go. Some time down the line I'm really happy I choose to.

Windows 7 for me is as fast as booting a linux distro. If you keep your pc in order then it ticks along just fine. ssd, snappy.
