How do I turn my RPi3 into a media server that embeds them as .mp4 .mp3 etc. so it works for cytube?
I have no idea what to search for, and the creator of cytube won't tell me how to do it.

install Gentoo

I'm serious, please help.
i did that with one of my rpi's. Went through a lot of bullshit trying to hack it together. Save yourself from the major headache: install gentoo on it. Honestly. Gentoo is made for the pi.

Embeds to mp4/mp3? You could write a simple script to have ffmpeg watch a folder and convert all files to your desired format.

No one wants to waste their time trying to help a retarded faggot. Kys yourself and install Gentoo. Sage.
All you need for cytube is an https web server, man
odroic c2 is a better option OP
it has Gib ethernet and seperate USB/ETH chipsets
Pi3 only has 100Mib/s ethernet and the same chipset on the ethernet/usb/microsdcard
odroid also can use android
Go to gearbest and get a Beelink or other cheap Windows puck style computer that's designed for serving up media files. The Pi is initially cheaper but by the time you purchase a case, a power supply, and an SD card (probably should buy a spare too since the Pi often fries them), you're close to the price of an actual media player.

how does that shit fare against a NUC?
>>61893068
Don't know but I know it is better for OP's task than a Pi.

Now what?

stfu pajeet
>>61890506
what you want is called a transcoding media server.

Way to be fucking discreet about shit mate.

bump

install openmediavault and then the plex plugin. It works nicely.
>>61890506
Install an nVidia Fire stick in the main frontfacing blast port and use a 14.88V XK/CD charger to hotplug. It's simple.

never heard of cytube before, but here is my steps:
search for project name
found:
https://github.com/calzoneman/sync/wiki/CyTube-3.0-Installation-Guide
which lead me to
https://github.com/calzoneman/sync/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions
So they don't stream stuff themselves, you need something else to do that.
Unless you want to upload it to youtube or something, use your own, eg:
