Have any of you successfully gotten rid of dead/frozen pixels? Do those flashing RGB videos work?
I just got a new laptop after waiting - and lo and behold - 2 dead pixels right out of the box. To top it off, I only noticed them when I was done removing bloatware and configuration. Ouch.
help plz anyone?
Not gonna happen, live with it.
Do an RMA since u just bought it.
You either gotta live with it or return it. If i were you id complain and return it maybe youll get free shit.
Sometimes tapping them works. Otherwise you're buying another lcd.

Stuck subpixels might be fixed with flashing, dead subpixels are dead.

Sometimes the weird patterns work and the tapping to unstick pixels. Other times they make it worse. If you are thinking of RMA make sure they don't have some bs policy of not accepting returns for "5 or less pixels". Good luck bro :/

I could have sworn it was larger than 1 pixel, but openinb it up and checking, it is indeed just one pixel of green. I have a few stuck pixels on my monitor, but they're smaller than that - how is that possible? Can you have partially dead/stuck pixels?

I've had stuck subpixels fix themselves after continued use, but dead pixels are usually dead.

Those flashing lights on them for about an hour will sometimes fix them
Sometimes if you press firmly on them they will go away (Don't press too hard obviously)
Otherwise you can't remove them
