Try harder OP.

I already tried and it does not work. Signature error message even with forced installation.

hold f8 on boot, stop driver signature, install, reboot.
Happy retro evening, anon.

I tried but same result. As a direct manufacturer OEM Pine Technology, there is a variant made by XFX, which has drivers but for 9x, but I see in forums that apparently have not found a driver for WXP, so I would not know for sure if it is compatible or not , Is a card that came before XP and being an OEM, nVidia has no responsibility to remove drivers since the OEM is supposed to write them. so...fuck this card.

Well you're better off with a Geforce 4 instead of the GF2MX400 anyway.
Though is it for a specific purpose or can it be any AGP card?
>>61824628
you tried searching elsewhere other than their website like oldversion for a driver for it?

Then you need a better card.
MY PC I had back in 1999 had:
P2 233MHz MMX that I jumper OCd to 240MHz
192MB SDR 133MHz
SiS 16MB something
2 Voodoo 2 12MB cards in SLi
Though I only had a 3.08GB Fujitsu Siemens HDD and a 1.64GB Maxtor drive (Size as partitioned and read in windows (GiB)).
Soundcard was some ISA Aztech triangular yellow PCB.
I'd recommend using a Riva TNT2 if you want something similar to the MX400 though since those don't really have driver problems.
Had one myself and it worked fine in WinXP_FAT32*+NT (*Home)/Professional and Win2k_NT Advanced Server.

Try manually adding the hardware ID's to the inf file of >>61824756
That trick worked to get the 980/980ti working on XP and to get 7xxx cards working on win9x so it might work here.
>>61825125
You should probably use a Radeon 8500 128MB

Go for GF4 ti4200 or GF3 ti200, my afro-american friend, both are dirtcheap and reliable.
