>Not sure what private trackers are all about?
The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.
>Have a question?
Use >>>/g/ptg as a link to find the /ptg/ thread.
Remember the following:
>Staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before.
>This is a thread for educational purposes only. Don't offer or ask for invites.
>Staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers.
Does anybody else read /ptg/ at work because they want to be entertained, informed and can't connect to private trackers at work?
You guys make my shitty college campus desk job so much more bearable.
Just in case people don't know....
band from the ex-bassist from Galneryus before going to Baby Metal shitfest.
That one is not exactly anime related but the artist ave appeared in various anime stuff
Apollo has better quality control, better staff, and more torrents. It's the best successor to what atm. RED is curry shit run by furries and retards that couldn't even pass the original what interview. Don't waste your time with RED.
nigga everyone knows /pol/ is the new new /b/
not good to be the new old /b/ and shittier than the old new /b/
I am damage controlling what? Just because they're a certain age doesn't mean they're acting that way. I'm not sure what you're after but if you're not going to put effort in your posts I can only assume you're also a child.
best brush your teeth, looks like you're going to be a girl soon
>made bbt account one month before lockdown
Feels like winning the lottery.
want to be my bf afterwards? I'm going to need someone to break me in
2.5TB up is not impressive at all given that he was snatching everything during the initial 3 weeks long freeleech.
Almost all of his uploads were made using one of those better scripts that snatched other people's FLACs and made 320/V0/V2, that's how he made it to PTM.
He's literally as useful as a dumb python script to the community.
If you don't understand the massive impact this will have on the economy you're an idiot. It changes racing to an average gain in buffer even if you're slower on average than the rest of the swarm, it will make it easy for everyone to survive solely on autosnatching, removing the incentive to upload.
If I'm in HDB and Guru+ on BTN, is there any real reason to level up past Power User on RED I don't really use it but I got in and leveled up when I first got in but I just login every so often now so it doesn't get pruned.
The only tracker left that I can think of I want in is PTP, I'm already in Bib/GGn and any other worthwhile tracker I can think of
>Apollo has better quality control, better staff, and more torrents. It's the best successor to what atm. RED is curry shit run by furries and retards that couldn't even pass the original what interview. Don't waste your time with RED.
Better quality control, that's laughable. Youtube>FLAC mania. Better staff who don't know what a transcode is and who lie to users, whom they squeeze for money in shady donation drives. And "more torrents", which is an objectively false claim, by which you mean "much less torrents" even after you consider they still allow v2 MP3s. But you probably also think that comparative statistics are a "scam".
It's not ruined.First it was slow as fuck. Some users will dl with the tokens so economy will pick up for a while. Then it will slow down again. Users will bitch and moan.
Music trackers don't matter anymore.
>why are RED babies so pathetic
>keep your autism and worthless tokens to yourself in your shitty containment tracker
Meanwhile, Apollo ran on FL for so long, and had open signups for so long that it had nearly twice the users who spent most of the time waiting for other people to upload, which is why they had about 1/4 the content per user, and half the torrents total. And that includes v2.
Good for you, Apollogist.
>RED just destroyed their economy. Soon, nothing.
Destroyed their economy, oh, you must be one of those 'tards that think the new ratio rules affected tens of thousands of users instead of literally dozens. Reading comprehension.
>what did PTP mean by this
>If you don't understand the massive impact this will have on the economy you're an idiot. It changes racing to an average gain in buffer even if you're slower on average than the rest of the swarm, it will make it easy for everyone to survive solely on autosnatching, removing the incentive to upload.
Gosh, if only someone had access to the user database to see how many users this actually affected. Like the people who approved the change and said to people who expected it to usher in huge waves of downloading that it would not, and that wasn't even its intent.
You do realize that most Elite+ have WAY, WAY more ratio than 1.05, the requirement to advance to the next user class, right?
Of course you don't.
This is why you think this will have a "massive impact on the economy".
>Racing used to be negative sum, now it's positive sum. That removes all incentive to upload for buffer.
You can say that. But again, you ignore the fact that most users at higher user levels whose buffer requirements were changed were already way, way higher than 1.05. If there were no incentive to "upload for buffer" according to your theory, everyone would stop at about 1.1 to 2.0 just to be safe. And they don't. Because people who share on private trackers are motivated by things other than fulfilling the bare minimum of your math equation.
>TFW private trackers don't allow you to browse their site with a vpn
>there isn't the same demand for a music tracker in 2017 that there was in 2008. accept reality.
Some of us never lowered our standards, or don't just listen to "whatever Spotify deigns to to offer".
>I hope demon*taku kys himself now that he's banned from his favorite tracker
Getting banned was part of his plan. He is invisible now that you think he is gone. He is one of the faceless men now.
>Getting banned was part of his plan
>qbittorrent autistically redownloads every single file
>all download scores double
>we no longer interview ex what.cd members.
How fucked am I... and here I had proof of membership all ready.
I just want too watch the whole damn series ill pay for it or download it i just want the whole thing as soon as possible i don't have time to lurk and learn about this shit i could be going to jail
How fucking new do you have to be? Holy shit educate yourself.
>the quote had been used to refute posters on 4chan as early as March 2010
Yes, reddit adopted our meme, more news at eleven.
Because I browse /g/ and I know ill get a actual response that isn't KILL YOURSELF AND LURK MORE FUCKING NORMIE from /a/
iis my discord if someone can help me the entire monogatari series 50 bucks is your reward
>quotes knowyourmeme while boasting that he knows more memes still has to quote a reddit site
Fucking hell were you even hear in 2010? It was an awful place. /b/ trash was always scoffed at. They were always cancerous underage faggots.
I've sucked off guys for less and I still don't see the incentive.
I think you missed the point entirely. Something being used X years ago isn't an argument. As for proof you could always quote an archive directly from those years. Again though. That's not where you got your image from. And even if you did. It would still be a cancerous meme from reddit. Capiche?
>wiki that documents the memes
This is the most underage sentence I've read this month.
Again. You're quoting thin air. Either deliberately missing the point or just refusing to see how cancerous it is you truly are. I'm not saying you have to stop. I'm not saying it's cancerous because reddit uses it either. Get it now? Do I have to spell it out for your single digit IQ?
Sucks for anyone trying to hit the top of the tracker RPG by getting into HDB. Ian isn't recruiting to Bib from RED anymore and the HDB recruiter on Bib hasn't invited anyone to HDB in well over a month. Plus the CG and AHD recruitment threads to HDB are down.
Is there a way to transcode audio files on a seedbox? Waiting to transfer them to my computer, transcoding them, and reuploading them to my seedbox takes a long time with my shitty connection
why would you need to cheat on PTP? it's one of the easiest sites to get buffer on. at any given time there are 2-5 freeleech picks on the front page, plus more freeleech in the new golden popcorn page and always a half-leech for the film club. Snatch these always, and you'll get tons of easy buffer. seed as long as you can and you'll be swimming in bonus points. my seeding size is well under 1TB and i get over 500 BP/month (200GB of buffer).
it's not easy, the site is really slow and people don't download much there. the only reason i have a buffer is from all the sitewide freeleeches. they usually do them around christmas time.
>They can't even fill 7 fucking requests
>Ignoring your claims as they're quoting someone that isn't me...you actually think you're superior for knowing reddit memes is hilarious.
4chan and reddit memes are all trash if their primary purpose is to give you a superiority complex.
>upload military / cracking documents to private tracker (including scripts and test exploits)
>staffs contacts me and orders me to take it down
>not even military/goverment stuff, just how to do weapons manuals
is this legal? what the fuck, I should be able to upload all the shit I want
So, I thought I'd ask here before applying for invites to trackers.
First some background info for those that don't know:
>Dragon Ball Kai is a new version of Dragon Ball Z. In particular it attempted to cut out a bunch of filler in order to be closer to the Manga. As such it moves a lot faster and may be thought of as a sort of Directors Cut of Dragon Ball Z.
>Dragon Ball Kai is 98 episodes long.
>While Dragon Ball Kai was airing in Japan, Toei realized that the guy they put in charge of composing a new soundtrack (Yamamoto) had actually plagiarized a ton of shit. So after they fired him they used the old Z soundtrack (Kikuchi) for the last few episodes.
>Some of the Blu-Rays and DVDs out there contain Yamamoto's soundtrack up to a certain number of episodes (max is 76).
>On Japanese TV it aired with the Yamamoto soundtrack up to episode 95.
>Unfortunately TV broadcasts were done in 16:9 by cropping the video (it's actually in 4:3).
All of that said, there exist a few scene releases out there where people took Yamamoto audio from the TV broadcasts and mixed it with the 4:3 Blu-Ray video (doing this manually is actually pretty difficult since the TV broadcast has stuff like a short message from the sponsors at the beginning of each episode).
Sooo I'm wondering if anyone out there would be willing to check their private trackers for a copy of this release or something similar:
I checked BTN but they didn't have it (closest is a cartoon-world release of the Nicktoons broadcast). I also checked Baka but they never have shit. I'm specifically looking for episodes 77-95 (53-76 are rare but I've already got them).
I'd prefer them in Japanese (I've been watching Kai and Super in Japanese up to this point so it's kind of weird to switch) but at this point I'd settle for English.
I've actually already checked there and even have made a few posts at the end. The /t/ thread has a lot of Z stuff and a bit of Kai stuff but it doesn't have what I'm looking for.
Here are some tracks from Yamamoto's soundtrack:
As you can tell they're way different from Faulconer (dbz English dub soundtrack) and Kikuchi (original dbz soundtrack).
To be honest I only know of Stitch_Encodes (that nyaa link) directly. Though while searching I've run across vague comments saying others exist. I can't rule out the possibility that stitch encodes is the only release where someone took the time to mix the TV audio with the 4:3 blu-ray video.
I do know that the Kanzenshuu people (Dragon Ball fans) manually spliced Yamamoto's soundtrack with the English dub voices somehow and have audio available on their site. It's against their rules to provide the episodes themselves but there may be a release that has already done the work of merging the audio to some video source.
None of the ones on Animebytes say they have the broadcast audio. iptorrents neither. This has them dubbed but none of the links work anymore
Thank you for checking, anon!!
It's annoying that there isn't more stuff out there. It really doesn't help that the whole thing is super complicated to explain to others and as such many viewers don't even realize there's different versions out there.
Have rukia ignore/reject your PMs/seed
>First 16 volumes of DB manga = DB anime
>Remaining 26 volumes of DB manga = DBZ anime
>DB Kai anime = Directors cut of DBZ anime
I'm talking about Dragon Ball Kai.
The first 6 volumes of the manga aren't really very far into the story, anon..
At any rate, I watched Dragon Ball Z as a kid when it originally aired but hated all the filler. I'm rewatching Kai because it's much better.
There's more than one DB manga. I'm talking about the initial DB story before it became DBZ. There's also a couple of differences regarding translation errors, censorship and color pages. The more you know. Your choice to willingly watch a Toei anime. Really. Just know that quality anime studios do exist.
That's not what I'm saying at all though. If you've got nothing to contribute just shut your mouth.
sarek in degen new article http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2017/08/azealia-banks-nude-photo-explain-inspiration-escapades/
So when you're only seeding and not actually uploading anything, how much if any speed does it take up? I want to seed more for points but roommate warns me that I better not lag his gayming.
Apollo's forums are just dead. Look in any of them and you'll see that even topics just 3 or 4 from the top might have posts from over a week ago. The classical discussion thread isn't even on the first page of the music forum.
Seriously it would be nice if the two communities would both be equally active as far as community participation, torrents, etc goes. Neither one is going to be around forever.
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DELETE DELETE DELETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
