what are the chances the governments of this world could crackdown on monero? They're constantly going after online black markets and they took down Alphabay and that other big black market. i'm sure theyre aware of how useful monero is to these people that like to buy and sell illegal stuff. Someone whos researched this tell me what are the chances they can crakcdown on monero and in what ways? Can they seize anything? Can monero be stopped?
Transparency seems kinda dumb desu. I wouldn't want people to see money going in and out of wallets I own, so I think monero is going to be popular even without drug dealers etc using it, but them using it currently is serving as a backbone keeping the currency going. It kinda needs them to survive right now, and eventually thrive later. Thoughts?
