It’s neither. It’s not using the ringbus architecture. It uses the new mesh architecture which results in performance regression vs Broadwell-E clock-for-clock. The cores are similar but the interconnect is not. The 7700K is the best for gaming, for any use other than that Intel is currently not worth buying vs Ryzen
