>using any other browser than opera
>Waterfox (literally a recompiled Firefox) isn't placebo
>Pale Moon (a complete fork, that will keep XUL extension compatibility when Firefox drops it) is a placebo
Who the fuck made the OP image?
>>61782156
but OP, Opera gained a considerable ammount of marketshare
OP image is garbage. i dont understand why people want to echo chamber everything. just use what you like and stay quiet.
>>61782156
also if you are this noid. you might as well just use Tor or tails. security≠practicality.

Not OP. but can we still agree that IceCat is the best browser?
>>61783081
Chromium is
>>61782924
waterfox has many shit stuff removed and it's also fast 64bit
>>61783029
>Tor
>secure
>>61783081
Its ok. i dont recomend it unless its already installed on your OS. as much as i love FOSS i dont recomend non tech people to use it. the masses need a browser that is always in active development and has the funds to do that said development. Firefox and Chrome are my recomendations for anyone. i personally use opera, waterfox, firefox. maybe a bit of midori or iceweasel for old netbooks.
>>61782156
What about Vivaldi? As far as Chromium/Blink forks go, it seems pretty good.
>>61783241
yeah its more secure than i2p and freenet. if you want more security. you might as well set up a encrypted USB and CD only use club and send information by hand
>>61783313
what is the point of vivald again?
>>61783374
Replacing Opera (since that was bought by the Chinese) as the browser for those that want Chrome without using Chrome.
>>61783313
its fucking ugly
>>61783428
i liked opera before they adopted Chromium. it had its own mail and torrent client built in and pinnable tabs. great browser.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>61783029
That's a fine looking animal.
>>61784849
it's very hard to navigate, open new links, etc
they should add mouse support and more security features
>>61782156
Isn't IceCat exactly the same as Firefox but just with the branding changed??
>>61783224
>waterfox has many shit stuff removed
you can remove that shit yourself
>it's also fast 64bit
in my experience waterfox was slower than even pale moon
>>61785201
You're confusing it with Iceweasel.
>>61785232
I personally use Firefox 32-bit but I consider waterfox superior because:
>Removal of Sponsored Tiles on New Tab Page
>Disabled Web Runtime (deprecated as of 2015)
>Removed startup profiling
>>61782156
Chromium without google wins handsdown .. i even have disabled flash and other addon and its masterace ... firefox is assshit since they decided to suck his developer cycle
>>61785201
It's Firefox ESR with branding changes, some tweaked preferences and bundled addons.
>>61782156
On ad blocking nothing can beat beat firefox and ad blocker devloper edition with noscript and flash disabled u can fuck any wwebpage fornfun

What's the advantage of Waterfox over Pale moon?
I remember I used both a while back simultaneously to try and decide upon a winner, and I ended up choosing Pale Moon. Can't for the life of me remember why, though. Too long ago mind you.
>>61796883
>>61782156
PS: What's the go with Iridium and why is it so high up there?
>>61794949
Disabling cache writing to HDD, that is
>>61796883
Waterfox is optimized for 64bit systems
>>61796897
Iridium is Chromium with everything Google-related stripped
>>61782156
Between Waterfox Iridium and QupZilla Wich is the best?
>>61796943
Well, Pale Moon is 64 bit as well? And in fact I'm 99% sure it's only available in 64 bit, so I would say that it too is optimised for 64 bit systems. So what's the difference?
I can see why the Iridium thing would appeal though.
Is there a way to swap out an existing chrome install with iridium without losing anything?
>>61797012
I believe Pale Moon is forked from a much older version than Waterfox, so I suppose the differences would be mostly visual.
And you could install Iridium alongside Chrome, import bookmarks and settings, then uninstall Chrome.
i think your list is a incomplete
i spotted some important missing vars...
