Im using DigitalOcean atm. Paid like $5 and got $25 free credit so its like 6 months hosting for $5. Do you recommend Vultr or Linode over DO? Any coupon codes or offers?

I've never used Linode, but I reckon Vultr is as good as DO these days, I think you can even upload custom ISO's.
The $2.5/month vps is 'sold out' atm.

The Alpharacks is kinda shitty it works 24/7 but I can't connect through SSH at night.

Back in 2010 I've had to keep a server for lineage 2 in my room because the onliest data center in my town have burnt down, and I'd say that was the worst IT-related experience I've ever had. I still don't believe that I've managed to make a deal with local IPC to have 1Gb/s connection in my apartment.

Most hits are coming from the US so it probably doesn't matter.

I chose AMS because I think the laws on "free speech" might be better there, and also I heard they have a huge IX.
