They feel premium because they have to feel premium with such high prices. Call me a poorfag but i just dont feel like spending so much on a laptop /all-in-one that offers so little improved functionality over an good 1080p (even gaymen) laptop.
I just use a desktop and a crappy acer laptop with meme resolution, but if needed to use a laptop daily, not once a week, i would probably just buy a good laptop (maybe even a macbook if it wouldn't throttle).
I had to use mac all-in-ones in school though and i hated absolutely everything about them, they were the old bulky macs though and they seemed shitty compared to older pcs and comparably new laptops. Also they smelled like burning electronics, and the "mac room" was hotter then other rooms.
So yeah just go and call me a poorfag because its totally relevant to macs being expensive with little reason beyond it (except for nice screens i guess but 1080p15,6" is enough for me on laptops)
As for iphones and ipads i use my shitty smarphone just for checking the email and chatting/calling, altough i could probably use a nice tablet for wasting time or reading ebooks.

However i think macs are a good piece of hardware people can buy if they get annoyed by configuring and connecting things and having cables and such. Its your cash ,do what you want with it.
