Nature can really be a pain in the ass sometimes. Luckily my computer and monitors were okay, but I am going to invest in a decent UPS now.

sounds like a good idea.
Even though I have everything on a surge protector Ill still shut down and disconnect anything that is worth a shit if it starts to thunder/lightning too hard.
When the lights start turning on and off is when everything gets disconnected.

Surge protector did not do anything to help me, that is why I am not going to risk it anymore. UPS should be enough to help protect me.

Yea, I dont trust anything, thats why if the price of an object is repetitively high then I unplug it.
look into whether or not the shit puts out a sine wave or a modified sine wave. modified is a shit

For now I'll unplug, but I guess after I get a UPS it won't be needed.
