Wewlad. Maybe I shouldn't build that new server computer. My room is allready pretty hot.

That's a very lewd question anon :3

I get 49C on my x220
CPU is OK, GPU is toasty though for idle but it only gains 10C under full load so everything is gucci

I repasted that thing and still get over 50, but that's not completely idle
>>61715814
right now browsing some tabs on chrome and listening music stays at 49, gets up to 59C with fucking youtube. Was thinking about repasting but seems that it's not that bad after all. Also thought thermals were overall better on newer machines.
It's doing alright, though my NH-D14 is missing a fan because I accidentally broke one of those CPU fan clips that holds it to the radiator while tinkering. Waiting on a new one.
Used to idle between 28-38, now it idles between 38-45. Much bigger difference than I was expecting.
I dunno, like 31C? It's off :^)

CPU never gets over ~30-40% usage through all of this.
What can I do? I'm thinking about opening it up and checking out my heatsink, maybe reapplying the thermal paste.
ryzen 1700CPUTIN: +33.5°C

Just reapplied thermal paste after 5 years. Shit's still too hot but at least it doesn't hit 60 anymore in idle.
