Also, if youre gonna be on wifi, `pacman -S dialog wpa_supplicant` before you exit the chroot. Otherwise you gotta go back in and its a pain in the cock.

dont bypass package manager by doing make install i learned that the hard way and use the xfce DE everything else blows

I'm windows user. My first distro was ubuntu. Now i will try arch. But something bothers me. Too many updates and conections happening at same time. In windows i block updates and use a third party firewall softwer fo be more "offline". I feel more safe like this way. How i can do the same thing in arch?
