ITT: Audio equipment? Speakers and Shit. I've got a question too. I have a subwoofer speaker/desktop speaker system, where the sub acts as a satellite speaker to the other two. It's connected via a 3.5 mm audio jack. Now, when it's connected to side a of the 3.5, no bass plays in the left channel, but when it's connected to side b, no bass plays through the right channel. What dafuq is going on?
OH yea, pic related
What is side a? What is side b? Are you talking about the bass from a sub? It's supposed to be mono.

It came with a stereo out plug. I've used a mono 3.5 mm, and that messes up the top speakers audio. Ended up doing this. Tested it on a cheap ass guitar amp first so i didn't blow up my good sub.

You tested a problem with stereo on a mono source. bravo

side a and b being the either or side of a standard 3.5mm aux cord.

But my friend, the sub works now.
