The ones that come with the phine or those that work like stock ones with root are good though. Mine is on right now on my s7 edge.
I wonder if AMOLED black pixels spend energy of the filter is on though.

I'm sure that there is some science behind it but I can't say that the blue light feels bad for me, so I don't bother using filters.

Blue light has a shorted wavelength which is bad for your eyes if yiu stare at a screen for an extended period of time.
Personally enabling the blue light filter on my monitor has helped with my eyes feeling less tired and irritated after staring at a screen for too long.

Been using Red Moon bc muh freedumbs and not wanting to root my phone for f.lux. Is it any better somehow?

if the s4 mini can i will buy one of those.

I use f.lux on my desktop, but Twilight on my mobile. (S7 Edge). You can set the intensity with Twilight and the color, which I like. It is definitely a noticeable difference when I'm turn it off after using the filter in the late hours.

Been using Night Shift on my iPhone and MacBook Pro. Hardly ever notice it anymore.

After using it for 2 days i could never go back. Love em. Flux is a pain in the ass on my mac. Twilight is allright but since i installed lineage i use the ambient display, but for some reason lineage doesnt have quick settings for its ambient display, which is fucking retarded since cm13 had it and i cant think of a single fucking reason why they dont have it in there now. Fucking niggers.

Either your lineage build is old, or that you didn't know that it moved to display > livedisplay > display mode. On official LineageOS builds, it's there.

Yeah its there, this is the way i configure it erry day nigguh but THERE ARE NO QUICKSETTINGS for that shit. The point of quicksettings is that i dont have to do the whole thing you just described. Wtf its about 5 clicks to get there, which is complete bullshit.

I can't read, sorry. Maybe try other Lineage-based ROMs? The one I'm using (crDroid) has a quick settings toggle for it. Or set an activity shortcut with your launcher. Will still take at least 2 taps though.

mm... flux... love it. forgot i had it running (on ma macbook). it's barely noticeable. just makes the screen ever-so-warmer, the way i have it set up. just that TOUCH BIT warmer. everything feels a tad more balanced. i've got a friend with one of the apps on his phone and everything always looks straight-up red. 'tsridiculous. he doesnt know how to use it. dab'll do ya.

Yeah, these might be my only options. I have a moto g4 play, i think they have RR for it, so i can give that a try. Its a real shame though, i really like lineage except for this one little thing that i need to use multiple times a day.
