Hire scribes to etch binary into stone slabs that are then sealed in pvc pipes put inside concrete tombs stored in nuclear proof bunkers.

Trying to access them whenever your system crashes is going to be a bitch but at least they'll last.

x3 zfs mirror with a hotswap spare in the zpool

then setup a timed zsnap schedule that burns to bluray or a external drive/network drive

store that zsnap in a different place in the event of theft or a fire

zfs will account for bitrot and has passive compression and native encryption for financial documents

That is about it but 5% will suffice on modern hdd because you need to have a backup of everything on another drive.
Also you have to checksum everything and periodically check everything to avoid bit rot.

Don't suffer with vermin at all, actually. But there's woodland all around here, so they probably don't have much of a need to invade people's homes for warmth or nest-making.
