Hp Compaq NX6325. Couldn't have picked a better laptop to give to a 6 year old. That thing could take a beating. Its a shame the same can't be said of HPs consumer options. Single core sempron and 2gb of ram. It played Sims 2 at least

A Fujitsu Lifebook from back in 2000. Couldn't remember the exact model, took a bit of Googling for old Fujitsu laptops to find something that looked similar. Closest I could find was this manual for a C-4120, though that might not be the exact model I had. Mine looked identical to this diagram, except mine had a "horizontal" Enter key, not the "upside-down L-shaped" one.

I got this in 2007 @15 years old as an upgrade from a pentium 4(celeron 2.4ghz) Dell Dimenson 2400 that I had used for 4 years.
Looking back I can really appreciate just how much better it was than the competition at the time even though I don't own a single apple product today.
OS X was miles ahead of XP. Tiger had just about every key feature sierra has but had them 10 years ago while XP still looked like legos and had no compositing, no window management(os x had expose and shit), no system wide insta search like spotlight, way worse file manager, etc.
THe hardware was sick too. CPU/ram/hdd was a massive upgrade for me. It was like the first laptop with the centered web cam/mic up top. Had a nice keyboard and god tier centered track pad. Magsafe is nice. easily removable battery and servicable hdd/ram. came with a little remote to use.
I got so much fucking use out of it it's insane and then I sold it for like $450 5 years later.

This E1-531. Cheap, brittle plastic. 2 core Celeron without hyperthreading. Horrible screen.
Survived 3.5 years. The last one it had steel wires to hold its hinges to the plastic, 2 busted usb ports, a non-reliable power port and broken RAM traces causing it to restart if you held it the wrong way. The headphone jack was the first to go.
I had to solder its power button once every 2 months because I broke the ribbon cable when the keyboard kept breaking.

A similar story here. I'd been using it until Snow Leopard but eventually I'd got redpilled and moved to Linux. I never looked back and I'm convinced that Apple hardware is for normies and technically illiterates. I now sometimes use that MacBook to build LinageOS in Xubuntu for my phone.
>>
>>61689649
It's different now. Linux DE's/WMs and Windows 10 are both just as usable as macOS and it just comes down to personal preference.
Back then though Tiger was just so much fucking better than XP in everything but software compatibility and apple had just switched to Intel and introduced boot camp so you could run windows software when you needed to.
I don't regret the purchase at all but about year after I got it I became interested in video games on the computer and learned about building your own from /g/ and have never looked back.

All of the Laptops I used were pieces of shit so I never bought one until I read here on /g/ about Thinkpads. The first Laptop I owned is an ADVENT ROMA which was given to me by Sister In Law.

That ADVENT is a horrible Laptop......It overheats like fuck. I use it for backing up files onto DVD. I did use it for a couple of months but then I bought an IBM Thinkpad X60s after reading about Thinkpads here on /g/.

I am very pleased with it. I got it for about £70 off Ebay. The Battery in it could do with replacing besides that it is decent enough Laptop.

A few months after buying the Thinkpad I bought myself an iBook G4 off Ebay on a whim for £60 as it is in very nice condition and the battery in it to my surprise only had about 40 charge cycles on it.

It had Mac OSX Leopard installed on it when I got it but I installed Mac OSX Tiger so I can use classic environment.

The iBook G4 is totally obsolete but it has the nicest Keyboard I have used on any Laptop Computer.

HP Compaq 6715s
I was dumb teenager probably 10 years ago and not that much into computers at that time yet and treated the thing badly and it got bunch of abuse during its lifetime, but it never failed and is still fully functional as far as I know although it has been a parts machine when I gave it to my friend few years ago, but all components of it should be still working. Was a quality business laptop back in the day and I didn't even realize it, I had few consumer laptops after that one which were poorly made and suffered hardware failures, but that HP which was my first laptop (before that I only had desktops) just worked forever despite getting bad treatment.
Thinking now that just proves even more that business laptops are better, 2 consumer grade shittops I owned had hardware failures, the another one was a Acer which had a failed RAM slot or something, everytime if there was any kind of stick in the other slot it just did not POST, it worked with only one stick, and then another one I had was a consumer grade Compaq, which had 3 motherboard failures for no apparent reason during its warranty, at least it got fixed for free everytime and then I sold the thing later on. I hated the HP at the time because it wasnt that powerful but it was a fucking tank and did not fail and I didn't even appreciate it that time, it was a well made thing and easy to service.

Have any issues with yours? I had a R1 and the hinges broke a few months after i got it and they had to replace the whole screen since it's all built into one unit. Had to replace the fan assembly 5 times since it would clog up and in their own words "its not meant to be taken apart and cleaned out". Once I used a central vacuum to suck out the dust balls however since then the fan rattled and eventually replace once it clog up again. Hinges broke again 4 years after the warranty ran out.

Mine had a mobo failure. Cooling system failed, then HDD failed.
Bought an EliteBook 2570p and it's been chugging ever since.
I love the Alienware but you have to take the entire thing apart to replace paste/fans.

Iirc they solved the hinge problem free of charge, even if you were out of warranty.

To women there is no difference between murdering someone in cold blood vs killing people in war. The motivations and circumstances are irrelevant to them, the display of manliness from the violence turns them on all the same. It's also why women are turned on by WWE wrestlers and boxers despite the fact that the former is completely fake. To the female brain it's all the same.

Used the same laptop with vista for the first year until seven came out and switched to that.

Vista ran well on this system I was able to run various programs, demanding games at the time and even supported PS2 emulation although with some frame drops.

Never tried anything else because it got water spilled on the keyboard and short circuited thus ending its rain. That is until recently when I was able to revive it, now I'm just fiddling with files i had back in 2009-20011. I plan on switching it to Linux and keep it as a backup media/indie game machine.

The first laptop I bought myself was a second-hand Powerbook 150 with about 5 minutes' battery life.
My first work laptop was a Compaq Armada 7300 which roasted my balls if I used it on my lap. They also had a powered docking station with a mechanism that pulled the laptop inside and locked it. We were always having the hardware contractors in to extract Armadas from broken docking stations.

>went to cuck school
>all the girls basically got fat and drank hugely because welcome to the UK
>all of them went from 8/10 to 5-6/10 with obesity and basically dressing/acting like complete sluts but with out actually putting out, muh strong independent wahmen etc
>at least no sjw shit in those days
>nobody in my school ever got laid basically except one or two alpha guys i'd hang out with from time to time and those were with chicks outside school, all the nerds were maximal beta orbiters. Eventually drinking and stuff got out of control, the guys became less interested in girls because each time you basically had to become their bf to stand a chance of getting laid. Most guys then just didn't even bother to try from what I saw
>lot of the betas in my year resorted to trying to get girls super drunk on nights out, but they still couldn't touch them
>max betas respected wahmen too much to try

Fast forward 5 years

>all girls in my year are fat af and single, most are >= 150lbs I'd say, massive whales or aged lesbians now, none of them kept in shape
>fall bad for girl like in OPs post at around age of 23
>she rejects and i get ostracized cause she started talking shit on me, literally did nothing to her except ask her out
>catch a lot of daggers around this time from beta orbiters etc

fast forward another 5 years to now

>entire female world is basically sjws and complete sluts
>girls i went to school with are now age 29+ women and most are single with a dose of mad
>men universally hated more so than ever
>talk with old friends who used to be massive beta orbiters and feminists, now all red pill and going with foreign women basically

Feel vindicated because since school I was largely right about most things, feels bad at the same time because basically girl in OP's pic doesn't exist anymore imo.

They just cut out the being cool part and go straight to being bi-sexual demifluid man haters, where they grow into really bitter women.

It's more pronounced now if anything

>the internet
I see it all the time in the newspapers like the guardian though and in the mainstream media. White straight men are the cause of all the world's problems

I have a few friends who had older sisters, and by their telling they had upwards of 15 boyfriends by the time they were 25.

Some settled down and others ran out of time basically, none of them really ended up happy by my friend's accounts of things.

Where as other girls just dedicated themselves to a guy like my bro who's fairly alpha, and to my friend who's also pretty alpha mostly. Both relationships lasting faithfully 5+ and 8+ years now despite them happening at a young age of 20-23

This rapid fire pump-and-dump thing that girls do now of powering through relationships is definitely out of misandry imo

Say what you like but the most unappealing thing to me is some 29+ girl who's been through 15 other guys and is now starting to get desperate. Massive red flag for starters but also a prime candidate for divorce material
