I liked it
dunno if it's the best because I haven't tried every mouse out there, but I liked it better than my logitechs and never-heard-of brands.

also the old intellimouse PS/2 and serials were awesome. too bad non-optical mice never lasted very long.

Nope. It's decent for a old "retro" build.
Any mouse that's more than 10 bucks these days will surpass it easily in performance and comfort.
