OpenBSD, the most secure OS in the world, has switched to Clang and deprecated GCC.

Do you still use GCC even though the writing is on the wall?

BSD is a cuckold license, GPL is freedom

I don't use C/C++. Rust compiles to LLVM IR so my choices are limited.

GCC is still faster and optimizes better.
For my work that's more valuable than the small comforts and safety Clang provides.
They changed their default to Clang because they were still on ancient GCC 4.3, the last version under GPLv2. Also OpenBSD is irrelevant.

You may not use the OS but you most likely use software from the project('s devs) daily.
