Anyone here program on a Chromebook WITHOUT enabling developer mode and installing Linux? I'm talking about using only signed Chrome apps, cloud storage, and a dev server.

must be hell

Is pretty comfy actually. Everything is synched with the botnet save SSH keys so I can wipe my Chromebook to factory settings but be up and running like nothing happened in 10 minutes. Don't have to fuck with reinstalling environments.

I used to with a OG Samsung and a hosted install of c9, was quite comfy

I'm thinking about getting a Samsung Chromebook Pro, what kind of programming can you do with it? I'm assuming you can do Android, and probably web dev too. Anything else?

> Not doing periodic full disk snapshots to preserve your operating environment
> Not backing up working files to a torrentsync folder for immediate off-disk backup

No wonder you're stuck on basic tools you basic fuck

Okay, I'll bite.

Tell us about your environment anon.
What signed apps do you use?
What language do you develop in?
What's your workflow like?
>>
>>61641362
That's nice but more time-consuming in the end than just logging in and synching. It was fine when I was a NEET of course.

Any Chromebook will be the same really if you do all your building on a separate server. The difference will be the quality of your browsing experience, and Android apps I suppose.

Caret, Codenvy, SFTP File System, MySQL Admin covers most everything for apps. I work on C++, AngularJS, Java, and HTML on an average workday. I connect to Linux servers and work directly on a project file structure with SFTP, and let the server hand CI.

I used to chroot or crouton into Linux for SSH and SublimeText, but I've spent so little time doing so lately I just don't bother with devmode anymore. I remote into my desktop if I seriously need to nowadays.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
