I have vps where I have encfs directory.
When I want to access it I mount the crypted directory with sshfs to local machine and locally decrypt mount crypted directory.
Not sure how good this is but in case somebody gets access to the vps or can read the packets it's only crypted data they can see.
Kind of redundant in that ssh always is crypted.
Can I export nfs directory in server and have some kind of key file authentication? As far as I know the only way you can limit who can mount nfs export is by ip.
