Do you like the idea of music sounding like it's being listened to by someone else three rooms away on AKG k612 pros who is actually enjoying the music and you're just vaguely overhearing it? Then Veilheisers are for you. They are basically the cuck fetishists choice of headphone.

Darker means just that.
The sound signature is "dark" and not "bright" like an HD800.
Most audiophiles have multiple headphones/amps/speakers for different genres of music.
Darker headphones generally have deeper bass and darker highs.
The shitty ones like Dr. Goy Beatz try to do it all and cater to every retard out there and fail miserably.
For me, I sold off all my headphones except my daily driver Ultrasone 780's (they're bruised now) and my LCD3's (the king of darkness). Love that liquidy lows on my Audeze. Obviously the high end Audeze I don't use every day, but I have a nice setup at home and I can enjoy music when I get home.
I might pickup another daily driver soon. I sold off my HD800 and I kind of miss the sound signature, although it was too bright for me.
