why aren't generals banned yet?
Nice thumbnail you saved there.
Meta threads sure do increase the quality of boards, don't they?
Cause the generals are the only good threads here. Everything else is just shitposts and shills.
why haven't the generals been demoted to colonels yet?

Because I already promoted your mom to rear admiral, so I could fuck her in the ass.

because generals work here
there's no need to discuss a 15 year old anime in a general because there are no new innovations to discuss. /g/ is probably the best board for generals

What is this, a meta thread for ants?

Sean Connery-tier. I laughted more than should haved.

Sadly, I must agree with anon-kun.

Because they save precious board space for all the anti-Intel/AMD/Windows/(GNU)Linux/Apple/Nvidia/Android/iOS/Facebook/YouTube threads, dummy!
bring back desktop threads

>because generals work here
if by work you mean containing circle jerking faggots and poojeets to a few threads, sure.

>implying that isn't an improvement in board quality

I used a filter and they no longer exist.

In my opinion, there should be a /gg/ /Technology General/ board for trial. This way, we could also experiment general that die too quicly, such as electronic threads (/diy/ is a dead board), machine learning threads, some random raspberry pi stuff...
This would leave /g/ for shitposting and flamewars intel vs. AMD or Nvidia vs. AMD, or whatever memes and consumerism and /gg/ would be slower but with less /v/ and /pol/ garbage.

It's only like this now because of generals. Nobody even bothers to report shitpost threads anymore because it's not worth their time. You're part of the problem by contributing to the general circlejerks
