I've never really missed it because you can just use the find command or take 10 minutes to write a simple program for more functionality but it's still not really friendly mostly to new linux users. Is this excluded with a reason?
inb4 badass windows 10 users proudly showing what kind of impressive file search fields they gave up their privacy for

KDE, GNOME, Unity etc.. They are your GUIs. And they literally all have file search.

I just installed catfish from my local repo (AU)
Look at how its displayed in the Accessories menu. It's at the very bottom. What gives? Any ideas?
