I own a 2nd gen 8GB and a 4th gen 64GB. Even that is not enough space for my entire library and I've had to trim a lot off to put new music on. I have a 64GB Moto G5 coming which can support up to a 256GB micro SD. Between the internal and the SD card I should have enough space now. Only issue is finding a decent music app for Android. I liked the layout on the ipod touch. Most of the apps on Android were a bit of a mess, it was very clunky to search for songs which. They have foobar2k on Android now, I'll probably give that a try.

Because I use an iPod for music and picked up a 7th gen Classic for $160 a couple years ago and holy shit it came with 160gb storage instead of 32gb before OS and formatting. Fuck that.

I have a smartphone with 64GB of storage and a microSD card slot with a 200GB microSD in it that cost me less for both items together than that iPod touch costs, it runs a better mobile operating system, it's not as locked down in practically every respect, it runs a customized ROM tailored to my specific way of using the device, and it can make actual cellular calls even though I use VoIP for all of those so WiFi works just as well.

They might mistake it for an iPhone, and it's a device that I literally have no use for. Does the iPod even work with Apple Car Play? Not that I care, I use my car's built in Android Auto because Google Maps and my phone has a 128GB microSD card in it.

It's a good idea to do that in bad neighborhoods anyway because if someone wants to break into your car then locking the doors just means they're going to break your window. I have a perfectly fine phone with a microSD slot. It has a 128GB microSD card that I've filled with music.

Have an ipad (the new cheap one), really great for bed. Only wish it had a clover like app that could play webms, the one downside.
