Maybe instead of increasing moore's law by making processors smaller we will increase moore's law by making massively paralell processors all invidiually very weak but when combined in a threadsafe way made very potent.

Wow it's almost like people haven't already tried that (they have). Look up Xeon Phi, it's exactly that, for the few rare applications that need highly parallel x86.
