Is it worth it to purchase a wired only router since I already have APs set up?
Or should I just get a wireless router since there are more options available?
In either case, what are some good options?
Just don't do pic related.
what are the APs plugged into?
Wireless Router + Plug in the extra AP's to the main router.
If you want to spend good money look into ubiquiti

An old Linksys DD-WRT (like the one in pic) which I like but the CPU can't handle >5Mbps traffic.
I also have the ISP's router but I am not a fan of the "smart router" software it comes with.

I am using Ubiquiti APs. Any suggestion for wireless routers? What about the Ubiquiti routers?
Buy a dlink dir-835 and flash with ddwrt. Most reliable cheap router I've ever owned. Never once had an issue in the 3 years I've had it. Not a single instance where I've had to reboot it.

Make sure it's HW version A1 for ddwrt compatibility.

Thanks, I'll look into it.
I don't know if this changes anything, but I have a sizable budget for this. Is it worth it to get the newer version with the extra bells/whistles/cup holders?
