Would anyone consider forking this?
Flash is finally dead, so.. no?

Why? Flash will be permanently dead and gone in a few years.

I've been hearing this since 2010 lad
It's a meme, there's always gonna be a website using flash, specially third world media websites (tv channels and whatnot).

Adobe is stopping flash support in 2020 and google will probably remove their version before that.

Microsoft is disabling flash in all IE and Edge browsers by 2020 and Google will almost certainly follow suit, they've been trying to kill Flash for years. At this point even Adobe is trying to kill Flash.

It's dead for real this time. Not only will adobe stop releasing updates entirely in 2020, but every major browser will drop support for it. Now, there just needs to be a means of emulating the player.

NO, THERE DOESN'T
LET IT FUCKING DIE
>>61562904
>2020-3
inb4 extened til 2030

I want to be able to play 20 years of flash vidya anon, lots of internet culture will die forever if a means of playing flash files dies off.

Blame Adobe for making the shittiest player in the history of multimedia. Maybe HTML5 will pick up some compatibility, but Flash needs to die for good.
