My computer is a XPS13 with Fedora 26. It's faster to boot than a MBP (tested side-by-side) and the OS is made by the company that fixed Heartbleed and Shellshock despite having a revenue 2 orders of magnitude smaller than Apple's.

I use Windows 10 on my custom gaming rig but all the shit was removed, it's fast stable and does what I need it to do. Linux is great but more work than what it's worth so I stick to Android and Windows.

It's very much a plug-and-play distro, works fine out of the box. The Arc theme makes it look better in my opinion, and despite being much lighter on resources than Windows, it's not a lightweight distro simply because of Gnome.
Things to do after installing fedora:
Enable the rpm-fusion repo
Install Gnome plugins
Inatall Arc

Generally agree, being an Apple user myself, though it's an imperfect argument - PC slowdown isn't really a thing with modern Windows versions, and Chinkphones like Oneplus perform very well (if with terrible bugs at first like jelly scrolling and whatnot, but it's not like Apple is immune to problems popping up for early adopters... in fact they're terrible for it)

But the ecosystem and attention to detail, oh yes. Take for example (just one small nicety of many) remote hotspot. You can have your iPhone in your pocket, with wifi off, and get your iPad or Macbook to say hi over Bluetooth LE and turn on the hotspot and join it all in one click. You also, even before connecting just over BLE, see the phone's signal and battery status.
With enough third party hacks you can do similar sort of things with Windows and Android, but it's not nearly as elegant or as battery friendly as keeping things to BLE until you bootstrap a wifi connection.

That's just an example, but when you combine lots and lots of "elegant and well thought out things" that is what makes for a premium computer and mobile device, much as it does a premium car. Yes, you pay extra money for luxury.
