my ps4 controller keeps registering the pressing of the left analog stick even when i don't press it, as if it's being repeatedly pressed. makes most games unplayable.
i was playing witcher 3 my character keeps whistling CONSTANTLY. in gta 5, the character keeps switching in and out of stealth mode constantly. in every game the function of the L3 stick press keeps going as if it's being pressed repeatedly. how the fuck do i fix this bullshit?

Clean it out or get an Xbox controller and an adapter
Ps4 remotes are awful, build and feel its like it was made by a child
Xbox one remotes are the holy grail and you can change the batteries or get a rechargeable battery for it

Op seriously it's not hard to open that shit up and clean it with rubbing alcohol. Like some anon said earlier it's probably food jammed in there or dust or hair. You'd be surprised with the amount of dirt can build up in a controller.
