RAM is a bitch on this one. Not only it sometimes need reseting ram into socket, it's also really bitchy on configuration. for some reason you'll get graphic errors with intel gpu and with certain ram configurations.

also, it didn't accept 8 gig of ram on mine. I only got 6 gig now, a new 4 gig and an older 2 gig. It said, it's a "bad" combination but it kinda worked out for me.

from a lineup of T43,T60,T61,T500,T400, the T400 is easily the one which feels more like a soft non-thinkpad chink shit.
