>Cloud-enabled Clipboard
>Clipboard functionality has not changed all that much in the past decade or so. This changes when the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is released, as Microsoft will release "Clipboard" with the operating system.
>Clipboard enables users to copy and paste between connected devices and device types. So, you could copy a link on your desktop PC, and open it on your mobile phone, or on other devices running Windows 10.
>This functionality is tied to the Microsoft Account. Microsoft customers may remind that of OneClip, a Microsoft Garage project that allowed you to copy and paste between devices and different operating systems.

Hope you enjoy Microsoft storing all your clipboard data indefinitely to serve up hot and fresh to advertisers and the CIA niggers. If you still use Windows you are the literal cuckolds of the computing world.

So were they incapable of doing that before putting this stuff into EULA?
If they add "We add Internet Explorer to our OS and no other browsers" do you think this defeats EU's anti-monopoly ruling for bundled IE?
>>
>>61517035
>So were they incapable of doing that before putting this stuff into EULA?
Not necessarily, but if you wanted to legally challenge Microsoft to the ability to do so you would have a legitimate case against them as they did not specifically state they would in the TOS assuming it actually wasn't there in some form of "legalese".

However, this has been in their TOS since the first release of Windows so I don't get whatever shill-tier point you're attempting to reach.
>>
>>61517096
My point is, TOS should not be the point of attack if you're trying to slander win10, because,1. it has little legal power and 2. as you said, they had a lot of shit in there since beginning. You should be getting people's attention to things MS does in practice.

I'd say that is only the case for those who put it on their own machines for their own personal use and excludes work use, gamers, and the elderly.

But yes, if you paid money for it and put it on your own machine that you built or bought for your own personal general use then you are definitely taking it up the ass on a regular basis for no compensation.

It still uploads it like it currently uploads it already. It does this without ms accounts because without it you just get some uid-hash until you make an account.

It never was, the retard spouted the same bullshit as
>but I don't use "x" so therefor "y" haha BTFO!!1!!!! Update to Windows 10(TM) now.
Even though Microsoft has stated in their TOS that this is bullshit as they retain every right and ability to push any update and collect any data they want regardless of what settings you turn off or on, because mind you they state "many" not "all" of these collection methods can be turned off. You are inherently leasing the software, you do not own Windows, Microsoft owns Windows and they can do whatever they want with it when you use it.
>MS does in practice
And they have used these methods in the past of forcing updates such as with the "Update to Windows 10 now!" dialog box when they were first pushing Windows 10. Even if you completely disabled updates, you still got it, meaning Windows can and will change, add, or remove whatever they want in Windows so long as you use it because you agreed to it.

You don't need to use that word when referring to business. Firstly, 20 rupees have been deposited into your designated shilling account.
Secondly, freedums are indeed not for everyone. You should indeed not force your parents to use FOSS, but rather help them get into it, should they be interested in what it has to offer.

I had 10 on my Ryzen 5 1600 build for about 3 months before I went back to 7. The privacy issues bother me, sure, but everything is such a damn hassle on it. Even with Classic Shell, the taskbar still randomly glitches and programs start hiding behind it. Its such a clusterfuck with dual settings here and there, having to reboot just to repair my network adapter, etc.

On 7 the only bug I get is the desktop stops refreshing after a while and that happens like once a week
>>
>>61516789
>Windows is a closed source OS so I can't check that it actually did stop it
Do you check that on Linux? Do you read millions lines of code on each kernel update? Do you only use open source programs on it and read their code before installing/updating them as well?
>>
>>61519028
Obviously, "I" don't, but a lot of people do. A case of botnet would be reported much faster on open source software than closed source software.
>>
>>61519055
A couple hours or maybe minutes of exposure to a botnet is enough for your privacy to be gone.
