Occasionally, limited options are designed in such a way that the limit is way above what the average or any human is going to need or want. This is good, because it makes sure that most or all people are satisfied, while you don't necessarily have to create a complicated functionality for handling a no-limit scenario (here dynamically loading and unloading an infinite amount of virtual desktops).
