C# fanboys piss me off. They see themselves as far above VB.NET users and don't seem to realise that they're using the exact same shitty language with slightly prettier syntax. It's just lipstick on a pig.
C# is a fun toy.

I got a job where they told me I would be using C#.net and I ended up fixing trivial bugs in legacy vb.net spaghetti code all day.
It pays really well though.
I don't understand the point of this post.
A thread fucking died for this.

The language is drastically different from VB. The fact that it compiles to same VM has little relevance (considering how many completely different languages compile to Java VM).

OP would probably be a big enough faggot to say:
>C fanboys piss me off. They see themselves as far above java users that they don't seem to realize that they're using the exact same shitty language with just prettier syntax. It's just lipstick on a pig.
I fundamentally believe that there's a direct correlation between a persons aptitude and language complexity. That syntactic sugar is what defines the gap, because being able to associate a complex language with meaning is real signs of intelligence. It's the real reason businesses want multilingual employees.

Some hot opinion you have there.

Is it hot because it would lead to a *heated* discussion, or because they are feminine?
Did you just assume the gender of my opinion? I'm literally heaving rn, and I think I might be having *heat stroke*.
Get off my lawn, ya meddling kids.

It's hot because it is meaningless babble but presented as if it was something significant.

Care to explain why you think .NET is shit?
