frametime lag
i have a 144hz monitor. therefore my frametime should be 6.9444 ms. (1000ms / 144 fps = 6.9444 ms per frame)
CSGO has horrible frametime variance, going up to 16ms (equivalent to a 60hz monitor) every few frames.
How do I fix this?

Install Gentoo, eSports faggot wannabe.

You're at the mercy of the servers, so that high refresh rate display is mostly useless when playing online... except for maybe the ULMB feature.
Use Rivatuner Statistics to cap the framerate at 144.
This program also does a really good job of smoothing out the frametimes.

I know TF2 has "graphics configs" that reduce the strain on both the CPU and GPU in order to boost frames. Surely CSGO has an equivalent.
What are your system specs?

You need win 10 creators update. I myself use win7 too. But if you want low latency you need that gamemode
Stop fucking complaining, i play CSGO with an old fucking monitor that weighs 20 kilos and green looks orange, and i play just as well. you don't need a fancy korean 25" 200hz ultrawide freesync monitor, you need H A N D S.

Why do you do this?

Is there evidence of Creators Update lowering input latency?
