4chan x disables the native extension to avoid conflicts. You have to click on settings and uncheck the setting at the bottom that says 'Disable the Native Extension'. Also, you may want to go through the native extension's other settings to make sure the ones you want are turned on

Fixed my issue
Had to delete all 4chan related cookies using

They hide the cookies well and the settings tab doesn't do shit

4chan X has been broken for a while.
Post counters stuck at 1, custom css not loading, and such.
