ITT we reinvent the wheel
it's a hover car
>>61471548
You may just be the worst artist that ever existed in this universe.
It's a sphere wheel
this allows parallel parking from the side on, it also makes it easier to exit parallel parks
>>61471554
you're not ready
>>61471581
Whoops
>>61471581
>sphere wheels
I can just imagine everything going wrong as soon as you turn a corner at any speed whatsoever
>>61471598
turning would have the same limitations as regular wheels if you wanted to keep a straight orientation
>>61471510
just put rgb leds on it and sell it as a gaming wheel.
>>61471581
>>61471594
>>61471598
>sphere wheels
Already fell for the gaming wheel meme.
>>61471598
It'll be like a beach ball, you'll get grip from it being squishy.
What if some electromagnetic pulse energy shit from the sun blasted blasted the planet an wiped all drives?. We have to code everything again?.

Every fucking language what tries to replace php, c etc
>>61471826
I'll design the logo
Instead of a circle, why don't we use a triangle for wheels?
>>61471927
Because you need booby roads for that to work
>>61471510
/g/ has been at that for a long time.
"Let's rewrite our functioning C program in Rust!"
Instead of making wheels on the vehicles, why not make the vehicles flat and then have round rollers as the roads?
>>61471999
Genius
GUYS
guys
I just had an idea
why don't we
have
SPHERE wheels?
>>61472067
/g/ literally couldn't reinvent the wheel since it requires basic solid mechanics.
>>61471942
Perfect
>>61472067
>we don't have balls
we're all /g/irls
GUIZ GUIZ
Instead of building a wheel around a hub with roller element bearings lets make this SICKKK hub-less design woooow
Lets also use solid tires instead of those OLDDD outdated pneumatic tires
Because were on a roll (hehe)We should also incorporate some EPIC RGB LEDS.
This was my contribution!
Toodles

Oops I forgot MY designsketch (ORIGINAL CONTENT DO NOT STEAL)

I thought about it for a minute but after dismissing spheres as impossible without using some kind of electromagnets (completely impractical) all I basically came up with was rubberised tank tracks. If each tyre on a car was spun from several smaller gears, would it not take less energy while also being more resilient to damage?
>>61472684
Spheres could work
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maglev
Put EM "rails" between the vehicle and sphere wheels. To move just apply electric charges on the rails and rotate them. Encase over half of the sphere within the vehicle so it doesn't fall out.

>Encase over half of the sphere within the vehicle so it doesn't fall out.
Just like mouse balls, basically

You're fucking retarded

How would we control velocity? Propellers? Jet engines?
>>61471510
Just use C.
