>>61451161
>>61451188
Javascript. I've never really programmed before. I thought it'd be fun and teach me the basics of the language. Anyways, over two weeks it's gotten a bit out of hand and it's a thousand-lines-long abomination. If you try it out, make sure you bind the shortcuts to exclude / include windows. I'd also appreciate all and any feedback to improve it, currently I've only developed it for my own use so it might absolutely suck for you. It's a buggy mess right now, but I intend to work on it and release it through store.kwin.org as soon as I'm comfortable with it. I own only one screen and rarely get the opportunity to debug it with multiple screens, it should work at some level tho. https://github.com/Jazqa/kwin-quarter-tiling

GNOME is not really /g/'s choice for ricing, ( xfce, don't wast your time on it) But extensions, themes/icons, conky, and terminal tweaking can make it pretty malleable.

Okay I understand where you're coming from. I love a stable OS with an up-to-date DE too, and I also hated using Arch for like the 6 months I used it. I personally use Solus with Budgie, but KDE Neon is a great distro if you're looking for a stable up-to-date KDE experience, but iirc, the distro itself has some other issues under the hood, for example I could not install WINE. But overall for the time I used it, it was pretty solid minus the weird kinks here or there (with the distro, not KDE) that I'm sure will and is getting ironed out.

Hello boys
>>61468866
Never tried it. Why is it faster and how comfy is it for the daily usage?
>>61468904
i've only been using it for a few days but it's p good so for
it's super fast for ricing and re-ricing because you can try any new settings in terminal and when you want to rollback you just hit the hotkey and it works instantly
also it's built to work with thicc window borders out of the box so if you're into that it's super helpful
the major downside is that the included bar script and dzen setup is completely unusable, i just erased it from the system
>>61468943

Yes I use Libreoffice, yes Libreoffice works fine. I installed it thorugh apt.
Global menu is easy to enable and it works with most Qt programs. GTK programs are excluded but they still have their own menu. Libreoffice doesn't work with global menu, which is a shame.

Nothing "changes". Idiot jerry-rigged an OS to do something completely different just so he could "look cool" by saying he technically runs a specific brand OS.
This is the equivalent of taking an F-16 fighter jet and trying to strip it down to meet the needs and specifications of a private jet airliner just so he could brag about how he pilots an F-16.
Also, his choice of apps are pure cancer and leddit tier any way you slice it. You must be an outsider yourself to defend this.

Okay, I wasn't saying lower is better. All I was wondering is what's the point of limiting yourself in not having an image viewer when you have 2000 packages installed.

Multi-cores are treated like individual CPU's in most open-sourced UNIX based projects. I do not know why. Because of this, when you decide to tell BSD to treat the cores as one entity, you get double the results, because the OS operates under the assumption that those "individual CPU's" are one.
More likely, anon has a dual-core Pentium, clocked at 3.5-4.0ghz.
>>61495747
Pentium M isn't multi core though. They don't even have hyperthreading.
